Well….I wasn’t expecting that! Last Friday my company had a team in a golf tournament. It was 80 and sunny…a perfect day for golf. And then….POW!! We get an email from the president of the company at 8:30 asking everyone on the sales team to join a Zoom call. We are teeing off in 30 minutes. He knew a few of us were golfing so he said he would catch up with us in the afternoon. However, we made a few calls to see what was going on. I wish we would not have made that call. We found out that our boss was fired right before we started the tournament! Needless to say our golf game suffered some but it was still perfect weather. Seriously….you can’t make this stuff up. In life change is inevitable. But we would just prefer not right before our golf game.
